Two years ago, Sedus began developing this office concept. It perfectly meets the requirements of a dynamic and constantly changing work environment that is very emotive and stimulating. The name "Place 2.5" is derived from the three "worlds" in sociology: "first places" are the private sphere in the home and in the family; "second places" are functional but largely emotionless workplaces, while "third places" are those designed for leisure and enjoyment, where people relax and recharge their batteries. "Place 2.5" is thus an office environment enriched with emotions and stimuli for the senses.

To perfect the design of "Place 2.5", Sedus has formed a pool of experts in the fields of acoustics, lighting, plants, aromas and indoor climate.
